Being visited by children is, for the Cooperative Group, always a treat. This week, elementary school students from “Escola Comtes de Torregrossa” from Alcarràs (Lleida) visited us to learn what a cooperative is and how it works. It was explained as a group of farmers that come together to carry out a project in common, such as Fruits de Ponent, as well as what are the values of a cooperative. The students were also interested in learning about how the Cooperative Group helps the environment with charitable, cultural, sports and other projects. Definitely a very interesting and productive visit for everyone!
